Microsoft just rolled out major AI boosts for Windows 11 on Copilot+ PCs. New features launched include an AI-powered agent in Settings, the Click to Do tool, Photos app relight, Paint upgrades, and Snipping Tool enhancements.
Changing Windows settings is now as simple as typing requests in your own words. The new agent in Settings can adjust hundreds of options—from display and connectivity to accessibility—with one click and undo options. Available now on Snapdragon Copilot+ PCs, Intel and AMD models get it later.
Click to Do keeps you productive with contextual actions on screen text and images. New additions let you practice reading aloud with Reading Coach, use Immersive Reader, draft documents in Word via Copilot, and send Teams messages without leaving your window.
Photos gets Relight to add up to three virtual lights to your images, with adjustable position, color, and presets like “Studio Portrait.” Available now on Snapdragon Copilot+ PCs, Intel and AMD support is coming soon.
Paint just added AI sticker generation—type a prompt and get custom stickers like “a cat wearing sunglasses.” Plus, object select helps isolate and edit elements instantly.
Snipping Tool gains perfect screenshot, an AI-powered feature that automatically resizes your screen grabs without cropping. Also new: a color picker that identifies colors anywhere on screen with HEX, RGB, or HSL codes.
Windows 11 now includes Copilot Vision in the U.S.—an AI that “sees” your screen to offer real-time help, insights, and guided navigation across apps. Highlights let Copilot show you exactly where to click to get tasks done.
Microsoft Edge is beefed up with Game Assist on Windows 11. Press Win+G for game tips, quick access to Discord, Spotify, Twitch, and more—without leaving your game.
Microsoft also unveiled quick machine recovery. If Windows 11 crashes unexpectedly, your PC auto-fixes issues using the recovery environment, slashing restart time from 40 to 2 seconds.
Copilot+ PC owners can grab these upgrades now via Windows Update or the Microsoft Store. The new Settings agent and Photos relight are exclusive to Snapdragon devices for now. Intel and AMD will follow.
Windows 10 support ends Oct 14, 2025. Microsoft is pushing Windows 11 and launching the Extended Security Updates enrollment wizard in Windows 10 to help users transition smoothly.
