Uber just launched Senior Accounts, a simplified app experience tailored for older users. Key features include larger text, easier navigation, and family ride updates.
Users in the U.S. can now manage older adults through the “Family” menu under the Accounts tab. This allows account managers to add payment methods, edit saved destinations, book rides, and even contact drivers. Plus, family members can track senior users’ rides in real-time.
"Senior users can add their Medicare Flex card to pay for eligible medical visits," Uber stated.
The new account feature is designed to keep older users connected and supported. Uber plans to roll out Senior Accounts globally, though a timeline for other regions is still unannounced.
This follows the introduction of teen accounts in select U.S. cities earlier this year, which later expanded to more areas.
Stay tuned for updates as Uber continues to adapt!
