Tesla Diner & Drive-In opened Monday at 4:20 p.m. in Hollywood, California. The spot pairs 80 v4 Supercharger stalls with a retro diner menu full of burgers, hot dogs, and classic eats.
The diner also features Tesla merch, an Optimus robot, and two massive 45-foot LED movie screens. The drive-in theater syncs audio directly to Tesla vehicles’ speakers, blending fast charging and entertainment.
Long lines formed before opening, showing strong early interest. It’s unclear yet if the diner will stick as a Hollywood staple or become a major draw beyond Tesla owners.
Elon Musk tweeted he’s considering rolling out more Tesla Diners at major cities and Supercharger spots on long-distance routes if this one works out.
Elon Musk wrote on X:
“If our retro-futuristic diner turns out well, which I think it will, @Tesla will establish these in major cities around the world, as well as at Supercharger sites on long distance routes.”
