Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says the UK is in a “Goldilocks” spot for AI development.
Huang made the comments while stressing the UK’s balance of talent, regulation, and government support.
He told Bloomberg the country isn’t pushing innovation too fast or holding it back too much — a sweet middle ground for AI progress.
The remarks come amid growing global competition on AI leadership.
Huang highlighted the UK’s access to world-class universities and strong tech ecosystem as key advantages.
“I think the UK is in a Goldilocks position in terms of being supportive towards AI but in a balanced way,
not over-regulating, and not being too lax either,” Huang said.
“It’s just right. There’s a great community of AI researchers, engineers, and government policies aligning for AI advancement.”
Nvidia is doubling down on AI hardware and software, making the UK a strategic spot.
No word yet on new UK-specific Nvidia product launches, but Huang’s optimism signals the region stays critical in the global AI race.
