Nvidia is resuming sales of its H20 AI accelerator to China after getting a green light from the US government. The company announced the move in a blog post, confirming it has been assured licenses to export the tech.
The issue started when Nvidia paused these sales amid tightening US export controls on AI chips to China. Now, those restrictions are easing just enough for Nvidia to get the necessary approvals.
This signals a slight rollback in America’s chip export crackdown. Nvidia is jumping back in to serve the Chinese market, one of the biggest for AI hardware.
