NewJeans is facing backlash after three members were spotted overseas without the full group.

Earlier this month, Hyein, Hanni, and Haerin were seen in Denmark. ADOR confirmed the trip, telling media, “the NewJeans members visited Denmark along with staff.”

Notably absent were Minji, whose future with the group is unclear, and Danielle, who is currently involved in a lawsuit after ADOR terminated her contract.

ADOR has not revealed the purpose of the Denmark visit. However, a leak from EMPIRE on X revealed that ADOR booked Copenhagen’s Black Tornado studio from April 13 to 17 — the exact dates of the trio’s stay. This strongly suggests NewJeans is recording new music.
