DeepSeek CEO Alexandr Wang pushed for a national AI data reserve to keep the US ahead.
Wang, 28, hit Capitol Hill three months after DeepSeek shook up AI by debuting a model rivaling top US tech.
He told lawmakers in April the US needs a big AI data reserve, more power for data centers, and to avoid messy state-by-state AI rules.
Congress got the message loud and clear.
