WndrCo has co-led a $15.5 million Series A investment for Creatify, an AI video ad platform. This funding round is aimed at boosting Creatify’s AdMax tool, which rapidly generates numerous video ads tailored for social media.

AdMax analyzes top-performing video campaigns on platforms like TikTok and Instagram. This data-driven approach is gaining traction as major players, including Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg, push for AI-driven advertising solutions. Zuckerberg’s plans could automate ad testing across Facebook and Instagram networks.

The launch follows a trend toward automation in advertising but raises eyebrows. Jeffrey Katzenberg, co-founder of DreamWorks and prominent investor, has had his share of hits and misses. His previous venture, Quibi, raised $1.75 billion but collapsed just six months post-launch.

As the landscape shifts, we’ll see if Katzenberg’s latest bet pays off.

"His bets are not always correct — he was also the founder of Quibi, the short video platform that infamously raised $1.75 billion and shut down six months later."
