HYBE Girl Group Faces Backlash as Latest Album Disappoints Fans

LE SSERAFIM is facing backlash again after their latest release stirred controversy among K-pop fans.

The group recently dropped their new song “CELEBRATE,” but it quickly drew criticism. Fans accused HYBE of copying BLACKPINK’s “Jump,” pointing out that both tracks share a similar EDM vibe.

The controversy began when fans noticed the resemblance between the two songs, sparking heated discussions online.

Soon after, LE SSERAFIM released a remix mini album less than 24 hours after “CELEBRATE.” The EP includes a sped-up version, a slowed and reverb version, an instrumental, and a karaoke track. However, fans were quick to call out the release, saying these aren’t real remixes and criticizing the lack of effort.

Fans pointed out that sped-up and slowed reverb edits are common streaming fillers, and karaoke versions are nothing new. Even loyal supporters expressed disappointment.

Ok, I’m usually one that loves the remixes…. But sped up, slow down, and instrumental are not remixes.. and karaoke? Give us some actual remixes.. great song, but those remixes are not it…

This may sound weird but I was actually kinda seated for some good ass remixes and they decided to do this lackluster ass shit? Girl bye

On top of the backlash, some netizens suspect the remix release is a chart manipulation tactic to boost streams across multiple tracks rather than offering genuine new content.

Even LE SSERAFIM’s own fanbase isn’t holding back their frustration.

As the situation unfolds, fans are left wondering if these are legitimate remixes or if HYBE is dropping the ball once again. What do you think? Share your thoughts on social media.
