Google is calling out Apple on its AI delays ahead of the Pixel 10 launch.
The new Pixel 10 lineup—including Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold—drops August 20, alongside Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a. But today, Google dropped a jab at Apple with a fresh teaser video.
The video mocks Apple’s AI features, which have been “coming soon” for over a year now. The message? If you’re still waiting on a feature Apple promised last year, maybe it’s time to switch phones.
Google clearly wants disgruntled Apple fans to choose Pixel. How many will actually switch? That’s another story.
Also notable: Google uses an instrumental version of The Next Episode by Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg in the teaser. Since Dr. Dre sold Beats to Apple in 2014, it’s a clever bit of symbolism.

If you buy a new phone because of a feature that’s coming soon, but it’s been coming soon for a full year,
then you either need to change your definition of the word “soon,” or change your phone.
