Console launched a new AI tool to streamline IT help desk functions and cut down response times. Founded by Andrei Serban after leaving Rippling, Console aims to automate tasks like password resets and app access requests.
The startup scooped up $6.2 million in seed funding from Thrive Capital. The fast-paced integration with Slack lets companies get started in weeks. No lengthy installations here.
"We’re able to get there so fast because we don’t require you to replace your help desk," said Serban.
Console’s AI can handle over 50% of tasks autonomously. For more complicated issues, it passes users along to IT professionals. Customers like Scale AI and Calendly have already seen benefits.
Vince Hankes from Thrive underscored the potential of AI for IT jobs. While competitors like Moveworks take longer to set up, Console’s agility stands out.
"We want Console to be an employee’s first call for help," Serban added.
Looking ahead, Console plans to expand its AI capabilities to assist with HR, finance, and legal tasks. The goal is clear: make IT support more efficient and accessible.
