Yupp launched a new website that turns chatbot feedback into cold, hard cash — or at least coffee money. The platform pits AI chat models head-to-head, letting users pick the better response. The catch? Your votes are sold as anonymized training data to AI builders hungry for human feedback.
CEO Gupta calls it “‘Every AI for everyone.’” He says Yupp doesn’t have deals with AI companies yet — it just taps existing models via API calls. Users basically play a game, giving feedback that helps fine-tune models through "reinforcement learning with human feedback" (RLHF). The pay? Modest, but enough for a few cups of coffee a month.
Yupp’s main rival is LMArena, a favorite for AI insiders tracking new model rollouts and stirring up stealth-launch rumors. 
Gupta wants users to see themselves shaping AI’s future—“better than free,” since you’re helping build smarter bots while cashing in a bit.
“Every AI for everyone is kind of our tagline,” says Gupta. “We have organized all the AI models we can find today.”
“This is a little bit of a departure from previous consumer companies,” he says. “You provide feedback data, that data is going to be used in an anonymized way and sent to the model builders.”
“Crowdsourced human evaluations is what we’re doing here,” Gupta says.
“These models are being built for human users at the end of the day, at least for the near future,” he says.
“It’s better than free, because you are doing this great thing for AI’s future,” he says. “Now, some people would want to know that, and others just want the best answers.”
