Anthropic just launched a new beta feature for its Claude AI chatbot that lets users build AI-powered apps right inside Claude. This upgrade expands on last year’s Artifacts feature, which let you view and interact with Claude’s creations.
Users simply describe what they want to make, and Claude writes the code for them. It’s like vibe coding but with results shown instantly inside the app. Anthropic shared a demo video showing a chat app getting built live.
Early adopters have made AI games, learning tools, data analysis apps, writing assistants, and even complex agent workflows using multiple Claude calls. These apps can talk back to Claude through an API. 
Anthropic encourages users to share their apps and notes that if someone else calls your app via API, the cost hits their subscription, not yours.
The feature is live now on Claude’s Free, Pro, and Max tiers.
Anthropic stated in a blog post:
“Start building in the Claude app by enabling this new interactive capability,” the company says.
“Simply describe what you want to create, and Claude will write the code for you.”
