Famous Actor Reveals Close Friendship With BTS V’s Dad

Lee Jong Hyuk revealed his friendship with BTS V’s father on MBC’s Radio Star April 29.

The actor talked about his two sons, including his oldest who was once an idol trainee. His son looked up to V as a role model.

Lee Jong Hyuk shared how he and V’s dad hang out a lot, drinking beer and playing billiards around the neighborhood. He said,

“I once sang 30 songs by Cho Yong Pil with V’s father at karaoke. Next time we’re going straight for Lee Moon Sae’s songs.”

He also explained how his son almost debuted as an idol. He said Starship Entertainment contacted him when his son wanted to learn broadcast dance.

The trainee days ended because balancing school and the long commute from Ilsan to Gangnam was too tough.
