Character.AI just launched a new social feed feature in its mobile apps. Users can now share AI characters, images, videos, and chat snippets with others. The feature first appeared on the web platform back in June.
The feed also integrates Character.AI’s generative video model, AvtarFX. Users can create video clips from text prompts and images, then post them in the feed.
The update blurs the line between creators and viewers. CEO Karandeep Singh said this lets people “take the story forward or create a new epic adventure.” 
This move puts Character.AI alongside other AI video startups like Pika, which launched an invite-only AI video app in July.
Karandeep Singh stated:
With our new Feed, the boundary between creator and consumer is disappearing. You can come to Feed for a lean-back experience and watch content from our amazing creators – but you can also take the story forward or create a new epic adventure.
