Lovable hits $100M ARR just 8 months after launch

Swedish startup Lovable, fresh off unicorn status, now joins the centaur club with over $100 million in annual recurring revenue. Its AI-powered website and app builder is booming, boasting 2.3 million active users and 180,000 paying subscribers.

With only 45 full-time staff and 14 open roles, Lovable’s efficiency is razor-sharp.

Subscriptions drive most revenue, but Lovable is not chasing sales blindly. CEO Anton Osika revealed on X they lost $1.5 million ARR in a single day by shifting all users from the pricey Team tier to a cheaper Pro plan that includes collaboration.

Lovable swapped the Teams plan for a new Business tier, sitting between Pro and Enterprise. It adds business perks like self-serve, Single Sign-On (SSO), private projects, custom templates, and an opt-out for data use in AI training.

Big clients like Klarna, Hubspot, and Photoroom are onboard. But vibe coding still faces enterprise hesitance. The Business tier targets those mid-size use cases beyond prototyping, which remains most users’ main activity today.

Over 10 million projects have been created on Lovable to date. The company says businesses are generating major revenue from projects built on its platform.

European startups crossing $100M ARR remain rare — Nvidia-backed Synthesia hit it earlier this year, but after nearly 7 years. Lovable did it in 8 months.
