The Browser Company just launched a public Skills Gallery for its Dia browser.
The feature lets users save and reuse AI prompts for frequent tasks. Want the browser to scour local events or create code snippets? Save the prompt once, then run it anytime with a shortcut.
Before the official gallery, users shared skills through community threads and webpages. Now there’s a centralized spot with categorized prompts, easy to copy and add to your library.
Nearby rival Perplexity is prepping a similar move. Their Comet browser will roll out ready-made shortcuts for repetitive jobs like tab organization and meeting prep.
CEO Aravind Srinivas teased the update on Twitter over the weekend.
Aravind Srinivas stated:
shortcuts for repetitive tasks rolling out next week on comet. more invites will be sent next week too. the browser is going to be your personal console for getting work done. https://t.co/xdzS8EzrhQ
He also said Comet users can script “Tampermonkey-like” automations via natural language prompts.
These moves aim to ease AI browser adoption by cutting down repeated typing. But fully hands-off AI browsers that handle complex workflows remain out of reach.
Still, saving and sharing prompt skills is a quick win for browsers betting on AI to boost productivity.
