Futureproof Music School is rolling out blockchain-based credentials alongside AI-powered courses. Founder John von Seggern uses an AI assistant to structure and enhance electronic music production lessons. Now, students who complete courses will get verifiable blockchain credentials as proof of their skills.

Von Seggern told Cointelegraph he’s seen the flaws in traditional accreditation and believes blockchain can fix them.

The OECD backs this move. Their report says blockchain allows instant, highly certain verification of qualifications and helps cut record fraud while empowering learners with control over their data.

Other projects are jumping in. Open Campus, a blockchain-based DAO, launched EDU Chain in January. It’s a layer-3 blockchain for storing tamper-proof student credentials.

At Token2049 in Dubai, Binance co-founder CZ revealed his Giggle Academy platform aims to teach 1 billion kids for free. Generative AI is critical for creating its course content.

Education is going digital fast, thanks to blockchain and AI combining to cut costs and boost trust globally.
