Samsung rolled out Galaxy AI, offering smart features on its Galaxy phones. Users can toggle these AI tools on or off in Settings under Galaxy AI. The features cover everything from voice transcription to fitness insights.

Photo assist has three AI options: generative edit (remove/move objects), sketch to image (basic outlines to photos), and portrait studio (turn people photos into cartoons). Each has a master switch.

The newest Galaxy S25 models include a "Process data only on device" toggle. With Snapdragon 8 Elite chips, some AI work can happen locally without sending data to the cloud. But not all features support this — generative AI edits and auto summaries still need internet.

Samsung claims all Galaxy AI data is encrypted and secure but admits no system is foolproof. Check Samsung’s privacy policy for full details.
