Microsoft just rolled out an update to Copilot Vision for Windows Insiders. Now, the AI can see your entire desktop—or any specific app or browser window—not just two apps at a time like before.
The change lets Copilot Vision analyze everything on your screen in real time. You activate it by clicking the glasses icon in the Copilot app and choosing the desktop view you want to share. It’s more like screen sharing, unlike Recall, which snaps your screen automatically.
Copilot Vision assists by analyzing content, giving insights, and answering questions aloud. Microsoft says it can help with creative projects, resume improvements, or even guide you through a new game.
The feature started testing last year for Edge web browsing. Copilot Vision also answers questions based on what it sees through your mobile camera.
