Artiso just launched an AI tool aimed at speeding up fashion design workflows. The startup was founded by three ex-Mango execs—Sarah Iglesias Hiller, Lucas Pastur Romay, and Matthias Brenninkmeijer. All three worked on Mango’s AI projects, including the recent Mango Teen collection which used AI-generated designs and models.
The tool automates everything from ad content creation to pattern variations. It uses “agentic AI,” which remembers past designs within a company to avoid impossible prints or patterns.
Sarah Iglesias Hiller stated:
“In our time at Mango, we realized all the use cases and ways of working that AI allowed.”
“If there weren’t enough hands, we had to turn to technology.”
“This type of AI remembers other uses, collections and designs in your company, and generates customized results.”
Artiso kicked off development late 2024 and already scored German footwear giant Deichmann as its first client. They’re also working with Inditex and Tata in India. The company plans to open a funding round in September.
The current Artiso team is just the three founders: Iglesias is CEO, Pastur heads product, and Brenninkmeijer leads tech. They claim 50+ collaborations are lined up, including suppliers.
Expect Artiso to push further into fashion AI as it tries to transform creative bottlenecks with smarter automation.
