Jabra dropped a global study showing daily AI use boosts job satisfaction by 34%. The audio gear giant teamed with The Happiness Research Institute to survey 3,700 knowledge workers across 11 countries.

The report found frequent AI users hit higher job goals (78% vs. 63%) and advancement chances (70% vs. 38%) compared to infrequent users. AI users are nearly twice as optimistic about future job satisfaction and fulfillment.

But it’s not all smooth sailing. Heavy AI users reported up to 20% more stress and more concerns over job security. That stress might stem from the demand to master new AI tools and fact-check AI outputs constantly.

Meik Wiking, CEO of The Happiness Research Institute, said:

“It’s easy to talk about AI in terms of productivity. But we need to start talking about it in terms of psychology. How it affects identity, motivation and what people believe their future looks like. The future of work isn’t just technological — it’s emotional.”

The study also linked happy workers to happier lives. Those satisfied with work are 4.5 times more likely to report life satisfaction.
