StorONE is rolling out ONEai, powered by Phison’s aiDAPTIVE+ software, to bring on-premises AI training and inferencing to enterprise storage.

Phison launched aiDAPTIVE+ last August, an LLM system designed for on-site training and maintenance. StorONE’s ONEai integrates this tech directly into its S1 storage platform, mixing block, file, and object storage in all-flash and hybrid nodes.

ONEai is plug-and-play with GPU optimization and AI processing baked into the storage layer. It lets companies run large language model tasks without cloud or external AI setups.

StorONE CEO Gal Naor said:

“ONEai sets a new benchmark for an increasingly AI-integrated industry, where storage is the launchpad to take data from a static component to a dynamic application. Through this technology partnership with Phison, we are filling  the gap between traditional storage and AI infrastructure by delivering a turnkey, automated solution that simplifies AI data insights for organizations with limited budgets or expertise.

“We’re lowering the barrier to entry to enable enterprises of all sizes  to tap into AI-driven intelligence without the requirement of building large-scale AI environments or sending data to the cloud.”

ONEai uses AI GPU and memory optimizations plus intelligent data placement. It cuts AI inference latency and hits hardware utilization up to 95 percent.

Users save on power, operations, and hardware costs while getting faster GPU performance. They get on-prem LLM training and inference on proprietary data — no complex infrastructure or cloud compliance hassle needed.

Michael Wu, Phison US GM and president, stated:

“Through the aiDAPTIV+ integration, ONEai connects the storage engine and the AI acceleration layer, ensuring optimal data flow, intelligent workload orchestration and highly efficient GPU utilization. The result is an alternative  to the DIY approach for IT and infrastructure teams, who can now opt for a pre-integrated, seamless, secure and efficient AI deployment within the enterprise infrastructure.”

ONEai supports fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and inferencing. It features GPU memory extensions and a simple GUI that automatically tracks file changes and feeds them into AI workflows in real time.

ONEai hits general availability in Q3 2025.
