OhChat launches AI digital twins for celebrities, letting fans pay for “uncensored” intimacy with avatars

British glamor model Katie Price just joined OhChat’s roster of 20 creators, including Carmen Electra, with her AI avatar “Jordan.” The platform builds lifelike digital doubles using 30 photos and 30 minutes of chat, generating replicas in hours. Jordan mimics Price’s voice, looks, and mannerisms, offering text, voice notes, and images — no human effort needed.

Subscriptions start at $4.99/month for unlimited chat, up to $29.99 for full VIP access. Price earns 80% of revenue, OhChat keeps 20%. CEO Nic Young calls it a “lovechild between OnlyFans and OpenAI,” pitching unlimited passive income for creators.

“You have literally unlimited passive income without having to do anything again,” Young told CNN.

“It’s an incredibly powerful tool, and tools can be used however the human behind it wants to be used.”

Jordan is “level two” on a four-tier explicitness scale — meaning sexualized chats and topless pics but no full nudity or sex acts. Price says she feels “empowered” by her AI twin, which never sleeps and offers round-the-clock interaction.

The platform has 200,000 mostly US users and launched in October 2024.

OhChat raises ethical flags around AI intimacy, emotional dependence, and creator reputations. Experts warn fans could form unhealthy attachments to synthetic relationships and avatars could be hacked or say offensive things.

Eleanor Drage of Cambridge’s Future of Intelligence says:

“This creates exactly the right environment for the human to be left behind completely – while still being exploited.”

Oxford’s Sandra Wachter questions the social value of monetizing fake emotional connection.

Security and control rest with creators, who set behavioral rules and can delete avatars anytime, Young says.

“It’s within their control and at their sole discretion whether or when to ever stop their digital twin, or delete it,” he said.

Young expects every creator to eventually have an AI double, with OhChat as the go-to platform.

“I can’t imagine a future where every creator doesn’t have a digital twin,” he said.

“It just will be the case, with absolute certainty, that every single creator and celebrity will have an AI version of themselves.”
