Meta just launched new smart glasses with Oakley focused on athletes and fans. The Oakley Meta HSTN models boast double the battery life of Meta Ray-Bans and record 3K video. They’re based on Oakley’s HSTN frame and pack a front camera, open-ear speakers, and microphones.

Limited-edition Oakley Meta HSTN with gold accents starts at $499 for preorder on July 11. The rest of the series kicks off at $399, dropping later this summer.

The glasses support music, calls, photos, and Meta AI voice commands. You can ask, “Hey Meta, how strong is the wind today?” or “Hey Meta, take a video.” The AI also translates languages and identifies what you see.
