Kepler Group rolled out Amazon Q Business to its 500+ employees, cutting manual work by 2.7 hours weekly per person and speeding up client deliverables. The global marketing agency serving Fortune 500 brands struggled with AI tools missing chat history and file uploads, forcing teams into clunky workarounds while upholding strict ISO 27001 security standards.
The move to Amazon Q Business fit seamlessly with Kepler’s AWS-powered infrastructure, tapping Amazon S3, Google Drive, and Amazon Athena connectors. Crucially, Amazon Q Business doesn’t use Kepler’s data for model training, meeting tight security needs. The company rebranded the platform as Kip AI within its Kepler Intelligence Platform ecosystem.
The rollout started in early 2025 with a pilot of 10, quickly growing to 100 users by March. An AI hackathon boosted organic adoption. Kepler connected AI to multiple data sources, with access secured via AWS IAM and single sign-on, locking down data governance while expanding AI access across the org.
Amazon Q Business radically trimmed RFI (request for information) response times, saving 10+ hours each, and improved client communications, making emails and reports clearer and more consistent. User satisfaction hit over 87%, standardizing insight generation and sharpening client service quality.
“Our experience with Amazon Q Business demonstrates how enterprise-grade AI can be successfully implemented while maintaining strict security standards and respecting client preferences. The platform has not only improved our operational efficiency but has also enhanced our ability to deliver consistent, high-quality service to our clients.”

Kepler plans to continue expanding AI with careful attention to client AI use policies and contract updates, aiming for growth without compromising trust.
