Amazon is launching a new group focused on agentic AI.
The company announced this at a June 4 event, per CNBC. The team will sit inside Lab126, Amazon’s hardware R&D division responsible for the Echo and Kindle.
Amazon expects the group to build an agentic AI framework aimed at improving its robotics. This includes adding more skills to its warehouse robots.
